Uganda 2023 Teaching Day Five

Our final teaching day. We began our last blog post asking that you would please pray for the rain to cease in the morning so our transportation would not slide down the hill from the Hesed home. Thank you for your prayers. The Lord answered in a mighty way as we experienced absolutely no rain today! We enjoyed a beautiful dry day for our conferences and on our trip back to Entebbe as we make our way back home. The men finished up their conference with testimony and communion up on the hillside overlooking Lake Victoria  while the women finished up riding the Book of Nehemiah Chapters 11-13 followed by a lesson on God’s Sabbath Rest. Each team enjoyed the Certificate ceremony at the end of the conference where each attendee receives a Certificate of Completion. This is a wonderful time of celebration for the Ugandan men and women. This is such a fun moment for our FBC teams to be a part of. We especially enjoy hearing how the men and women will apply what they have learned to their ministry and churches. Thank you for all of your prayers and support. We have felt them all week and in the weeks prior within our preparation. After the conference, the team made its way back to Entebbe as we prepare to return back to Dallas via Dubai. The team is currently resting in hotel for the night.
