Every child longs to know they matter.
Garments of Love exists to remind children and their parents in a tangible way that they are seen, loved, and deeply valued by God.
"Since you are precious in My sight and honored, and I love you..."
Isaiah 43:4

Aurelia's story
For many of us, a new outfit is something we hardly think twice about. But for some children, wearing clothes that truly belong to them is something they've never experienced. Every child longs to know they matter. Garments of Love exists to remind children and their parents in a tangible way that they are seen, loved, and deeply valued by God.
One of those children was six-year-old Aurelia.
When Aurelia arrived at Garments of Love, she wasn't searching for lots of clothes. She had one simple wish-a pretty dress that was hers alone. As the youngest of three girls, every piece of clothing she owned had first belonged to one of her older sisters. Her single mom worked hard while pursuing her college degree and faithfully providing for her family, but new clothes simply weren't possible.
As Aurelia shopped with one of our volunteers, she found it-a beautiful green dress trimmed with lace. When she slipped it on and looked in the mirror, her face lit up. She twirled with joy and smiled from ear to ear.
"A pretty dress of my own!"
In that moment, it wasn't just about the dress. It was about being seen and knowing she mattered. It was about experiencing the love of Christ through His people. That is the heart of Garments of Love.
Everyone who welcomes a family, shops alongside a child, translates a conversation, or checks out purchases has the opportunity to communicate a powerful truth: You are valuable because God says you are!
When we meet practical needs with genuine hospitality, we point people to the God who treasures them. One child. One family. One relationship at a time.

Give. Go. Show a child they matter.
Join us for one meaningful day.
